You record a short selfie video on your phone; the Certifying Authority checks it and approves your DSC.
Get your video approved first time
- Sit facing a window or a bright light, with your face fully visible
- Remove caps, masks and tinted glasses
- Keep original PAN and Aadhaar ready, and hold them steady to the camera
- Read out the code or sentence shown on screen clearly
- Use a quiet room and a stable internet connection
- Make sure the name you say matches your documents
Common reasons for rejection
