DSC basics
What is a DSC?
A Digital Signature Certificate is the electronic form of your signature and identity, legally valid in India under the IT Act, 2000. It is used to sign filings on government portals and documents.
Which DSC class should I buy?
Class 3. Class 2 was discontinued for individuals and organisations from 1 January 2021.
What is the difference between Sign, Encryption and Combo?
Sign is for signing filings and documents. Encryption protects documents. Combo has both and is required by most eTender portals.
Individual or organisation DSC?
Individual DSC for personal filings and for directors and authorised signatories. Organisation DSC when the certificate must carry your organisation’s name, for example for tenders.
Buying & paying
When do I pay?
Only after your video verification is approved. No advance payment.
What does the price include?
Our listed prices are the certificate cost including GST. Token fee and service charge are extra, as per actuals.
Can I claim GST input tax credit?
Yes, on the certificate cost only.
Do you deliver outside Mumbai?
Yes, free delivery across India. Same-day delivery in Mumbai.
Using your DSC
How long does it take to get a DSC?
Usually 30 minutes to a few hours after video verification.
Can one DSC be used on many portals?
Yes. Register the same DSC on Income Tax, GST, MCA, EPFO and others.
Can I use my DSC on a Mac?
Yes, with the macOS driver for your token, though some portal signer utilities work best on Windows.
What if my DSC is lost?
Ask us to revoke it immediately and apply for a new one.
Tokens & renewal
Do I need a USB token?
Yes. Class 3 DSCs are stored on a FIPS 140‑3 USB crypto token. Document Signer certificates are the exception.
Can I reuse my old token?
Yes, if it is FIPS 140‑3. FIPS 140‑2 tokens were discontinued from 21 September 2026.
Can I extend my DSC?
No. Renewal means getting a new certificate, which you then register on your portals.
I forgot my token PIN.
The token locks after several wrong attempts. Message us and we’ll check whether it can be reset.
