Open All tools → Use a certificate (older versions: Tools → Certificates).
Choose Digitally sign and drag a box where the signature should appear.
Select your certificate from the list. It shows your name and the issuing CA.
Click Sign, choose where to save the signed copy, and enter your token PIN.
“Signature validity is unknown”?
This means Adobe doesn’t yet trust the Indian root certificate on that computer. The signature itself is fine. In Reader, open Preferences → Signatures → Verification and enable Windows certificate integration, or add the CCA India root certificate to your trusted certificates.
Choose your certificate, enter the token PIN, and the PDF is signed.
Signing many PDFs?
For invoices or certificates in bulk, a Document Signer Certificate signs automatically from your software, without a USB token.
